Common questions

Is the self-hosted version limited?

No. It's the same platform, with no caps on records, editors, or apps. You provide the infrastructure, the storage, and your own AI API key, and support comes from the community rather than from us.

What counts as an editor?

Anyone who builds or modifies apps. People who only use the finished app — your clients, their employees — are external members, counted separately and priced far more generously.

Can I move between self-hosted and hosted?

Yes, in both directions.

What happens if I exceed a limit?

We contact you rather than cutting anything off, and we'll discuss moving up a tier.

I'm an agency building for multiple clients.

Can I have a dedicated instance?

Yes, for clients whose procurement or compliance rules require physical separation. It's part of the Agency and Enterprise conversation.

Where is my data, and do you have a DPA?

Your data is never used to train AI models. Our data processing agreement, including the full list of sub-processors, is available on request — get in touch and we'll send it over.
